How to Order
We accept orders via our shopping cart facility. If you wish to purchase an item, simply click on the buy button to the right to be taken to the checkout. Please note that all orders are dealt with on a first come, first served basis and there may be occasions when an item has already been sold before showing this status on the site.
We accept payments through Paypal either using your paypal account or through their credit card payment facility, (You do not have to have a paypal account to use this facility).
We also accept sterling personal cheque or postal order. Please make cheques payable to "Basics4Baby" and post to: South Lodge, South Drive, Littleton, Winchester, Hampshire, SO22 6PY. Goods will be posted out immediately on clearance.
If you experience any difficulties in ordering, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Postage
Items within the UK are charged at £2.20 for the first 2 items, then 80p per additional item. For orders over 6 items, please contact us direct for an amount before ordering.
Items within Europe are charged at £2.80 for the first 2 items, then £1 per additional item. For orders over 6 items, please contact us direct for an amount before ordering.
Items to be shipped Worldwide are charged at £3.50 for the first 2 items, then £1.20 per additional item. For orders over 6 items, please contact us direct for an amount before ordering.
Overseas items are shipped by airmail. If you require a cost for surface mail, please e-mail us.
All items are shipped on receipt of payment. In the case of a cheque,we will ship on clearance. Any delay in the delivery of an item will always be advised.
Sizing
All items are put into categories according to their sizing. Some European labels can be smaller than in the UK and if we believe that to be the case, they are placed in the size we believe it to be as opposed to the size stated on the label. If in any doubt, please contact us and we will measure the item for you.
Returns
Our Policy on Returned Goods.
The following conditions are not intended to affect or jeopardise your statutory rights. Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. If we have already shipped your order, you will need to package the relevant items and send them back to us.
It is your responsibility that the parcel reaches us safely and we suggest you obtain proof of posting. You are liable for postage costs for returns, unless the garment(s) have faults or are otherwise faulty on our side. If the items are returned to us in the time scale stipulated and in the same condition as they were originally sent, unworn, unwashed, unmarked and free of any odour and with tags if applicable, a full refund will be issued without delay. If the items are returned with marks or faults of any kind other than those mentioned in the garment description, the goods will be returned to you at your cost. If the order was originally made from outside of the UK and Europe please take care to fill in posting documentation details correctly. Goods to the UK may incur duty charges if you fail to make it clear that the package is a "return" to the UK and not an import. In the event of documentation being completed incorrectly and tax or duty subsequently being charged to 'Basics4baby', the sum involved will be deducted from your final refund.

Please feel free to e-mail us with any ideas or suggestion on how we can improve things. All ideas that are used will be rewarded with a £5 spend on our site.
Using our site
We have designed our site with ease of use in mind and we hope you do not encounter any problems. All general categories e.g. boys, girls are located at the top of each page with the individual sizing sections located to the left. However, in the case of experiencing difficulty, we are here to help. Please e-mail us at enquiries@kidz-stuff.biz and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How do we rate our clothes???
All our clothing in the brand new sections are as stated and either with or without tags.
To help you buy with confidence in our gently worn section, we rate our items on a scale of A, B, C
A - Garment is in as new or excellent condition.
B - Garment has been worn but is still in good to very good condition. There may be slight evidence of wear and tear but this will not be sufficient to detract from the item as a whole.
C - Garment has been worn and there is evidence of this to the item. This could be pilling, minor staining, wash fade or a slight hole. Such items are still perfectly wearable and cater for those looking for playwear or similar.
Please note that all items are freshly laundered and ironed prior to dispatch. Every item we sell has been thoroughly checked and if it does not match up to our standards, we simply do not sell it. However, there may be rare instances where errors occur and we will always offer a full refund in these circumstances.
